If this is an emergency

The National Problem Gambling Helpline is not a crisis hotline and is not designed for emergency services. If you or someone you care about is in crisis or in immediate danger, call 911 or 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

If gambling has stopped being enjoyable, or it is affecting your money, your work, or the people around you, free and confidential help is available — 24 hours a day, every day.

How this service is meant to be used

First Down Intel is built for people who want to understand a market, not for people chasing a result. It shows what the market is doing and how confident the underlying data is — including when that data is thin or missing. It does not tell you what to do, and it never claims an advantage.

Research is not a substitute for limits. Decide in advance what you are prepared to lose, decide how much time you will spend, and stop when you reach either. Chasing a loss is the single most reliable way to make it larger.

Signs worth taking seriously

  • Risking more than you planned, or more than you can comfortably lose.
  • Trying to win back what you have lost.
  • Hiding the activity, or lying about it, to people close to you.
  • Borrowing money, or selling things, to keep going.
  • Losing sleep, missing work, or feeling anxious or low because of it.
  • Being unable to stop when you decided you would.

If you recognise yourself in this list, contacting one of the resources above costs nothing and is confidential.

Age and location

Access requires that you are of the legal gambling age where you are located — 18 or 21 or older depending on the jurisdiction — and physically present somewhere that permits the activity you intend. First Down Intel has no relationship with any licensed sportsbook or operator and performs no age or identity verification on anyone's behalf; that is between you and the operator you use.

Self-exclusion

Most jurisdictions and most licensed operators offer self-exclusion, deposit limits, and time-outs. Those tools are set with the operator or the regulator, not here.

If you want to stop using First Down Intel itself, the current billing mechanics — and how to reach us about them — are on the cancellation and refunds page. Stopping is never conditional on anything you read here.
